Ingredients for 8 people

  • 1 box Barilla® Campanelle
  • 4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch kale, julienne
  • 1 jar Barilla® Meat sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Romano cheese
  • 6 oz pancetta rendered and crispy


  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil

  • Meanwhile, in a pan, sauté kale with olive oil until wilted, about three minutes

  • Stir in the sauce and one cup of water into the pan with the kale; bring to a boil
  •  In a separate pan, fry pancetta

  • Add pasta to pot of boiling water and cook according to package directions
  • Drain and toss pasta with sauce
  • Stir in cheese and top with pancetta before serving
