Barilla® Campanelle with Shrimp & Basil in Barilla Sweet Peppers Sauce



Ingredients for 8 people       

  • 1 BOX Barilla® Campanelle
  • 1 JAR Barilla® Sweet Peppers Sauce
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive Oil
  • 1 CLOVE Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 POUND Shrimp Cleaned
  • 1/4 TEASPOON Red Chili Pepper Flakes
  • 5 LEAVES Fresh Basil sliced

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    Add olive oil, garlic and chili flakes to a large sauté pan and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.

    Add sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4
    Cook pasta according to the package directions.
  5. 5
    Add shrimp to sauce mixture and cook until the shrimp are done.
  6. 6
    Combine the sauce and sliced basil with pasta and serve.
