Ingredients for 8 people

  • 1 box Barilla® Farfalle
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 6 basil leaves, torn


  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and sauté an additional 4 minutes.
  • Drain pasta and add to skillet. Add basil and toss, then serve.
