Ingredients for 8 people
- 1 box Barilla® Gemelli
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Nutmeg to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shell walnuts and grind with a pinch of nutmeg.
- Melt butter in a wide pan over medium heat and sauté ground nuts. Stir for about 30 seconds, add heavy cream and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the heat.
- In the meantime, boil pasta in plenty of salted water according to package directions.
- Drain and toss with the prepared sauce and a couple of ladlefuls of cooking water, if the pasta is too dry. Combine and serve immediately.
