Barilla® Rigatoni

with Ricotta Cheese, Marinara Sauce & Mushrooms



Ingredients for 8 people

  • 1 box Barilla® Rigatoni
  • 1 jar Barilla ®Marinara Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 small Shallot Chopped
  • 3 cups Button Mushrooms Sliced
  • 15 ounces Ricotta Cheese
  • 6 leaves Fresh Basil Chopped

    BRING a large pot of water to a boil

    HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat
  3. 3
    Add shallots and sauté for 5 minutes or until translucent
  4. 4
    ADD mushrooms and cook an additional 3 to 4 minutes
  5. 5
    ADD Marinara sauce and ricotta cheese to skillet
  6. 6
    Simmer for 4 minutes and set aside
  7. 7
    COOK Rigatoni according to package directions

    Drain pasta; add to hot sauce and toss
  9. 9
    TRANSFER to a serving platter or bowl
  10. 10
    Garnish with chopped basil and serve
