Barilla® Rigatoni with Tomato & Basil Sauce & Artichokes

Ingredients for 8 people

  • 1 box Barilla® Rigatoni
  • 1 jar Barilla® Tomato & Basil Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 cup White Onion, Diced
  • 10 ounces Frozen Artichoke Hearts, Defrosted
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Italian Parsley, Chopped

    BRING a large pot of water to a boil

    HEAT olive oil in a large skillet
  3. 3
    ADD onions and sauté until golden yellow
  4. 4
    ADD artichokes, season with salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat

    ADD sauce and 1 cup of water; simmer for 10 minutes

    COOK pasta according to the package directions
  7. 7
    DRAIN pasta and toss with the sauce
  8. 8
    GARNISH with chopped parsley before serving
