Ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie with Rotini Past and Mixed Vegetables:

  • 1 box of Barilla® Rotini pasta
  • 1 premade pie crust
  • 2 cups of frozen vegetables such as peas, carrot, and corn
  • 2 cups of chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 cups of water
  • Salt to taste

  • On a large saucepan, mix heavy cream, chicken broth, water, frozen vegetables, Barilla Rotini pasta, and salt.

  • Cover and cook in medium heat for half the recommended amount of time the box specifies. Then, add the chicken.

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Oil and cover a small baking dish with pie crust. Stuff with the filling and add more crust on top.

  • Brush a beaten egg on the top crust and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
