Cacio e Pepe with Truffle Butter

Ingredients for 6 people:

  • 1 box Barilla® Collezione Bucatini
  • 5 tablespoons truffle butter
  • ½ cup Romano cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 teaspoons fresh coarsely milled black pepper
  • Sea salt to taste

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil, season with salt. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain reserving ½ cup of the cooking water.

    Meanwhile in a large bowl combine butter and black pepper, add cooking water and toss with pasta in the bowl.  Top with cheese and serve.
