Ingredients

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 1 box Barilla® Collezione Bucatini
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 leek diced
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • ½ cup white wine
  • ½ pound oyster mushrooms
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil
  • Meanwhile sauté leeks in olive oil for 4-5 minutes or until slightly brown in color
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, deglaze with wine and reduce by half
  • Add mushrooms and season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Add cream and bring to a simmer
  • Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and toss pasta with the sauce
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and fold in the cheese and parsley
