Barilla® Collezione Penne

with Alfredo Sauce, Spinach & Mushrooms



Ingredients for 8

  • 1 box Barilla® Collezione Penne
  • 1 jar Barilla® Garlic Alfredo
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion, small diced
  • 1 pound mixed mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil

    Meanwhile in a large skillet sauté onion in olive oil for 2-3 minutes or until slightly golden in color

    Add mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper

    Cook pasta according to package directions and drain
  5. 5
    Toss pasta with sauce, spinach and cheese
