Tips:  Replace the sage with thyme and hazelnut butter for a different variation

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of Barilla® Collezione Cheese & Spinach Tortellini
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ½  cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
  • 6 sage leaves, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook Tortellini according to package directions.

  • Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, melt butter with the sage leaves over high heat. 
  • Drain the Tortellini, reserving some of the pasta cooking water.

  • Dress the Tortellini in the flavored butter, add a little cooking water and mix well.

  • Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
