Cheese & Spinach Tortellini with Butter & Sage
Collezione Tortellini has all the flavors of Italian fine dining without having to leave your home.
Tips: Replace the sage with thyme and hazelnut butter for a different variation.
Ingredients 6 Servings
- 1 bag of Barilla® Collezione Cheese & Spinach Tortellini
- 3 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
- 6 sage leaves, chopped
Cook Tortellini according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, melt butter with the sage leaves over high heat.
Drain the Tortellini, reserving some of the pasta cooking water.
Dress the Tortellini in the flavored butter, add a little cooking water and mix well.
Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
