Barilla® Collezione Penne

with Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Crispy Bacon and Crumbled Gorgonzola

Ingredients

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 1 box Barilla ® Collezione Penne
  • 1 cup bacon, julienne
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, quartered
  • 5 leaves of sage, chopped
  • 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup crumbled gorgonzola

Instructions

    Place a pot of water to boil, turn on oven to 425°F
  2. 2
    In a small skillet render bacon until crispy
  3. 3
    Drain the fat on the Brussel sprouts, add olive oil, sage, salt and pepper and roast in the oven until brown
  4. 4
    Cook pasta according to directions, drain and toss with Brussel sprouts, bacon and crumbled gorgonzola before serving
