Ingredients for Protein+ Penne with Bone Broth & Parmigiano Cheese:

  • 1 box Barilla® Protein+® Penne Pasta
  • 1 quart beef bone broth
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta half the time of the package directions.
  • Meanwhile, in a skillet bring broth to a simmer. Add pasta and finish cooking the pasta in the broth for the rest of the cooking time. 
  • Drain the pasta if needed. Toss pasta with butter, cheese, and parsley.
