Ingredients for 7 people
- 1 box Barilla® Protein+™ Rotini
- 1 jar Barilla® Marinara sauce
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil divided
- 1 garlic clove whole
- 2 anchovies (optional)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup black olives pitted and sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons capers preferably in salt and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
- sea salt to taste

Bring a large pot of water to a boil

In a skillet, sauté garlic in 2 tablespoons olive oil with anchovies and red pepper

Just before the garlic turns yellow, stir in sauce and ½ cup of water, simmer for five minutes

Add olives and capers, season with salt if needed

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions

Drain pasta and toss with the sauce

Sprinkle with parsley and drizzle with olive oil before serving
