Ingredients for 7 people

  • 1 box Barilla® ProteinPLUS® Rotini
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small diced onion, thinly chopped
  • 2 red bell pepper, roasted and diced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 leaves of fresh basil, sliced thin
  • ½ cup Romano cheese

    Place a pot of water to boil.

    Cook pasta according to directions, half way through add broccoli. Meanwhile in a separate skillet sauté onion with olive oil for 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Add peppers, season with salt and pepper.

    Drain pasta and toss with veggies; stir in basil and cheese before serving.
