  • 1 box Barilla® Protein+™ Thin Spaghetti
  • 1 zucchini, thinly shaved
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoons fresh black pepper, coarsely milled\
  • 1 tablespoon soft butter
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Italian parsley, chopped

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain reserving ½ cup of the cooking water.
  • Meanwhile in a large bowl combine olive oil and black pepper; add cooking water.
  • Add pasta and zucchini to the bowl and toss, and then add butter and cheese until combined.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and chives before serving.
