Caprese Elbows Salad

Ingredients for 2 people

  • 1 pouch Barilla® Ready Pasta Elbows
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes 
  • 6 basil leaves, julienne
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 
  • ½ cup small mozzarella cheese balls, halved 
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Tear corner of Ready Pasta pouch to vent, heat in microwave for 60 seconds.

    Pour pasta onto a dish, and allow the pasta to cool.
  3. 3
    Combine tomatoes, basil, olive oil and cheese in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

    Add Ready Pasta to the bowl, stir and enjoy!
