Barilla® Veggie Penne

with Baby Shrimp, Fennel, Basil & Barilla® Roasted Garlic Sauce



Ingredients for 6 people      

  • 1 box Barilla® Veggie Penne
  • 1 jar Barilla® Roasted Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 fennel bulb sliced thin
  • 1 pound baby shrimp
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 10 basil leaves

    BRING a large pot of water to a boil

    Meanwhile SAUTE sliced fennel in olive oil for 2-3 minutes or until lightly golden
  3. 3
    ADD shrimp and saute for 1 minute, season with salt and pepper
  4. 4
    ADD roasted garlic sauce and ½ cup of water, bring to a simmer
