Barilla® Veggie Penne

with Crispy Pancetta, Arugula, Romano Cheese and Barilla® Tuscan Herb Sauce

  • 1 box Barilla® Veggie Penne
  • 1 jar Barilla® Tuscan herb sauce
  • ½ cup pancetta julienne
  • 2 cups baby arugula
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Pecorino Romano cheese grated

    BRING a large pot of water to a boil

    Meanwhile in a large skillet COOK pancetta until it's rendered and crispy
  3. 3
    In another large skillet WARM the sauce over medium heat
  4. 4
    COOK the pasta according to the package directions
  5. 5
    ADD ½ cup of the pasta cooking liquid to the sauce and bring to a simmer
  6. 6
    ADD the pasta and stir to combine
  7. 7
    REMOVE the skillet from the heat and add the cheese and arugula, toss well
  8. 8
    TOP with crispy pancetta
