Barilla® White Fiber Rotini

with Spicy Shrimp Ragout

Ingredients for 6 people       

  • 1 box Barilla® White Fiber Rotini
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small leek diced
  • ¾ pound shrimp chopped
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 jar Barilla® Spicy Marinara Sauce
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped

    BRING a large pot of water to a boil

     In a large skillet, SAUTÉ leeks in olive oil for 3-4 minutes or until slightly browned

    ADD chopped shrimp and sauté for 2 minutes

    DEGLAZE with white wine and reduce completely

    ADD sauce and season with salt and pepper

    COOK pasta according to package directions

    DRAIN and toss with sauce and parsley
