Barilla® White Fiber Shells

with Baby Arugula, Cherry Tomatoes and Toasted Hazelnuts



Ingredients for 6 people

  • 1 box Barilla® White Fiber Shells
  • 2 tablespoon Extra Virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup Onion, diced
  • 2 pints Cherry Tomatoes
  • 3 cups Baby Arugula
  • ½ cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted
  • ¼ cup Parmigiano Cheese, shredded
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil

    Meanwhile in a large skillet sauté the onions in olive oil until they are translucent and slightly browned

    In a separate small skillet toast the hazelnuts over medium heat until golden brown and set aside

    To the onions add the cherry tomatoes and sauté for 1 minute, season with salt and pepper
  5. 5
    Cook the pasta according to the package directions then drain and toss with the tomatoes

    Add the arugula and stir to combine, then top with hazelnuts and cheese
