Ingredients for 8 people       

  • 1 box Barilla® Whole Grain Medium Shells
  • 1 jar Barilla® Mushroom sauce
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup red onion sliced thin
  • 4 zucchini diced
  • ¼ cup Red wine
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese grated

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil

    Meanwhile, in a large skillet sauté onions in olive oil for 4-5 minutes or until translucent

    Add zucchini and sauté for 5 minutes

    Deglaze with wine and reduce completely
  5. 5
    Add Mushroom sauce and 1 cup water, bring to a simmer and season with salt and pepper

    Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and toss with the sauce

    Top with cheese before serving
