Ingredients for 4 people


1 package Barilla® Fettuccine Rigate
1 jar Barilla® Bacon & Cheese Sauce
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
½ small red onion
sliced thin
10 brussels sprouts sliced thin
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup romano cheese grated



Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking
1. BRING a large pot of water to a boil

2. MEANWHILE in a large skillet slowly cook the onions in olive oil until they are translucent

3. ADD the Brussel sprouts and turn the heat to high, sauté for 2-3 minutes

4. When the Brussel sprouts have browned, add the sauce and ½ cup of water

5. REDUCE to medium heat, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 3-4 minutes

6. COOK the pasta according to the package directions

7. DRAIN and toss the pasta with the sauce and cheese
