Day 2 - The Venice Lagoon

Tour Venice’s narrow streets and campi, or squares, with an expert guide who will show you local markets and goumet stores near Piazza San Marco, Ponte di Rialto and the Accademia. Lunch in restaurant downtown. In the afternoon, enjoy the ciy and shop for hand made Venetian carnival masks, blown glass from the island of Murano, marbled paper, unique gold jewellery and gourmet goodies. Sit down for dinner in one of the city’s charming restaurants.

Day 3 - An Intro to Emilia Romagna Cuisine

Leave Venice for Emilia Romagna – the Italian region worldwide famous for its culinary traditions and products. On your way to Parma, visit an ancient Reinassance villa where an aceto balsamico producer will explain his craft to you. After lunch arrive in Parma and relax before staring your cooking class at the Academia Barilla culinary center. Learn to prepare traditional Italian recipes. Tasting required!

Day 4 - Parma: the City of Food, Music and Art

Visit local Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma producers and taste their products. Walk around the Castello di Torrechiara, a 15th-century castle located in Langhirano, just south of Parma.
