Learn the art of perfect pasta and master the Italian classics at Sydney's top Italian cooking school.

Hands-on Classes: $100 per person 
Demonstrations & Master Classes: $65 per person

The cost of $100 per person includes cocktails and antipasto on arrival (light cocktails and freshly baked cake on Saturday mornings); all food with matching Italian wines and a goodie bag with Barilla products and the chef’s recipes to take home. 

Welcome to Casa Barilla, the authentic Italian Cooking School in Sydney, where local and international food experts share their knowledge of Italian food in a fun and interactive atmosphere. Throughout 2017, Executive Chef Andrea Tranchero leads a diverse program of hands on classes, demonstrations and Celebrity Chef Master Classes; taking you on a culinary journey through Italy's gastronomic regions and revealing the golden rules to authentic Italian cuisine as he goes. 
Each hands-on class is intimate, with only 16 people, and interactive: you learn, you cook and you eat! At demonstrations and Chef Master Classes, participants watch from their table; tasting the delicious results of the Chefs efforts throughout the class. All classes include Prosecco and antipasto on arrival, all food and a glass of wine with your meal, plus a generous goodie bag to take home.

Team Building classes are also available as customised hands-on experience for corporate teams. Groups of up to 24 can be catered for. Please contact us to tailor a class for your team.

Fresh Pasta VS Dry Pasta


Making fresh pasta can be messy! Take this opportunity to make filled pasta from scratch, without the cleaning duties. See just how easy it is to have a restaurant quality meal at home with our delicious golden egg pasta.


-  Cappellacci “stuffed pasta” with potato, mozzarella and Sundried Tomato Pesto

Pasta World Championship

 

Experience the excitement of the Pasta World Championships right here in Annandale. Replicating the themes from the famous event in Italy, you will create a timeless pasta classic and enjoy a healthy alternative using Barilla’s Wholegrain pasta. 


-  Classic dish reinterpretation: Spaghetti Pomodoro

-  Wholegrain Penne Rigate with Tuna and Capers in Arrabbiata Sauce

Three Ways With Pesto

 

Dip, stir, spread… There are so many ways to enjoy our Pesto. Learn new ways with Pesto, just in time for summer and the BBQ season.

-  Grilled chicken thighs with Basil & Rocket Pesto salad
