Ingredients

Serves 8

1 Box Barilla® Elbows Pasta
1 6 Ounce jar Barilla® Creamy Genovese Pesto Sauce
1 Cup fresh baby spinach, rinsed
To taste Parmesan cheese, grated [optional]

Method

Step 1

Cook Barilla® Elbows according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

Step 2

Strain excess water.

Step 3

To the hot pasta, add in the baby spinach and toss together until the spinach wilts, approximately 2 minutes.

Step 4

Using a large spoon, ladle the pesto into the pasta and spinach, then toss to combine until the pasta is coated.

Step 5

Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
