Simple summer pasta salads are the perfect addition to your picnic table. The pasta can be made ahead of time by cooking one minute less than the package directions and spread out on a baking sheet and tossing with olive oil. Once the pasta is cooled it can be stored in an airtight container until you need to assemble your pasta salad.

1 box | Barilla® Farfalle pasta |
1 jar | Barilla® Creamy Genovese Pesto |
1 tablespoon | extra-virgin olive oil |
1/2 cup | mozzarella, diced |
1/2 cup | multi-color cherry tomatoes, halved |
2 cups | spinach |
1 cup | small green peas, thawed |
1 | lemon, juiced |
To taste | Sea salt and black pepper |

Method
Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, toss with olive oil, and cool down on a sheet tray.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a large bowl toss all ingredients with pasta, season with salt and pepper and serve.
