Ingredients

Serves 7

1 Box Barilla® Protein+™ Thin Spaghetti
1 Zucchini, thinly shaved
6 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 Cup Romano cheese, freshly grated
1 Teaspoons fresh black pepper, coarsely milled\
1 Tablespoon soft butter
1 Tablespoon chives, chopped
1 Tablespoon Italian parsley, chopped

Method

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain reserving ½ cup of the cooking water.

Step 2

Meanwhile in a large bowl combine olive oil and black pepper; add cooking water.

Step 3

Add pasta and zucchini to the bowl and toss, and then add butter and cheese until combined.

Step 4

Sprinkle with parsley and chives before serving.
