Ingredients

1 | Box Barilla® Protein+™ Spaghetti |
2 | Tablespoons olive oil divided |
1 | Clove garlic minced |
1 | Red bell pepper julienne |
1 | Green bell pepper julienne |
½ | Medium red onion julienne |
½ | Pound boneless skinless chicken breast sliced |
¾ | Cup chicken broth |
½ | Cup Romano cheese grated |
To taste | Salt |
To taste | Black pepper freshly ground |

Method
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Step 2
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a sauté pan; add garlic and red onion; sweat for 4 minutes.
Step 3
Add chicken and 1 tablespoon olive oil to a separate pan and cook three-fourths of the way through.
Step 4
Add the peppers to the onions and sauté for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Add chicken broth and continue cooking until reduced by half.
Step 6
Cook Spaghetti according to package directions.
Step 7
Add the chicken to the pepper and onion mixture; season the mixture with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Remove pan from the heat and stir in the Romano cheese.
Step 9
Toss chicken mixture with the cooked Spaghetti.
