Ingredients
Serves 8
1 | Box Barilla Rotini |
1/3 | Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil |
3 | Cups Cherry Tomatoes Quartered |
1 | Cup Kalamata Olives Halved |
6 | Ounces Tuna In Olive Oil Drained |
1 | Cup Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella Cheese (May Substitute Fresh Mozzarella) |
1 | Teaspoon Salt-Packed Caper Soaked |
1/2 | Cup Fresh Basil Chopped |

Method
Step 1
BRING a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Step 2
SOAK capers in a bowl of water for 30 minutes to remove excess salt.
Step 3
COMBINE cherry tomatoes, olives, tuna, mozzarella, basil, salt, pepper and olive oil in a large bowl.
Step 4
Set aside to marinate 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Step 5
ADD Rotini to boiling water.
Step 6
Cook according to package directions.
Step 7
Drain, place on flat baking pan, drizzle with olive oil, and let cool.
Step 8
DRAIN capers and mince finely; add capers to the large bowl.
Step 9
When pasta is cool, add pasta to bowl.
Step 10
Toss all ingredients, season with additional salt and pepper as desired, toss well and serve.
