Ingredients
Serves 8
1 | Box Barilla Thick Spaghetti |
2 | Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil |
1 | Pound Italian Sausage Mild With No Fennel |
1/3 | Cup White Wine |
4 | Leeks Medium Size Diced |
To Taste | Sea Salt and Black Pepper |
1 | Tablespoon Butter |
1/2 | Cup Grated Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese |
1 | Tablespoon Parsley Packed |

Method
Step 1
SKIN and Crumble the Sausage, and COOK with Olive Oil over High Heat until Brown.
Step 2
DEGLAZE with wine and reduce well.
Step 3
ADD leeks, lower the heat and COOK for five minutes.
Step 4
MEANWHILE, COOK pasta according to package directions, but DRAIN three minutes prior to the end time.
Step 5
Reserve some cooking liquid.
Step 6
ADD pasta to the sauce, add cooking water and toss over high heat until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens.
Step 7
REMOVE from fire and stir in butter, cheese and parsley before serving.
