Tips:  Replace the sage with thyme and hazelnut butter for a different variation.

Ingredients

Serves 6

1 Bag of Barilla® Cheese & Spinach Tortellini
3 Tablespoons butter
½ Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
6 Sage leaves, chopped

Method

Step 1

Cook Tortellini according to package directions.

Step 2

Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, melt butter with the sage leaves over high heat.

Step 3

Drain the Tortellini, reserving some of the pasta cooking water.

Step 4

Dress the Tortellini in the flavored butter, add a little cooking water and mix well.

Step 5

Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
