Barilla Protein Pasta Kale Lemon Chili Pasta

Ingredients

Serves 6

1 Box Barilla ® Collezione Penne
1 Cup bacon, julienne
1 Lb. Brussels sprouts, quartered
5 Leaves of sage, chopped
2 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
To taste Salt and pepper
½ Cup crumbled gorgonzola

Method

Step 1

Place a pot of water to boil, turn on oven to 425°F.

Step 2

In a small skillet render bacon until crispy.

Step 3

Drain the fat on the Brussel sprouts, add olive oil, sage, salt and pepper and roast in the oven until brown.

Step 4

Cook pasta according to directions, drain and toss with Brussel sprouts, bacon and crumbled gorgonzola before serving.
