Ingredients

Serves 7

1 Box Barilla® Protein+™ Rotini
4 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 Small diced onion, thinly chopped
2 Red bell pepper, roasted and diced
3 Cups broccoli florets
To taste Salt and pepper
4 Leaves of fresh basil, sliced thin
½ Cup Romano cheese

Method

Step 1

Place a pot of water to boil.

Step 2

Cook pasta according to directions, half way through add broccoli. Meanwhile in a separate skillet sauté onion with olive oil for 5 minutes over medium heat.

Step 3

Add peppers, season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Drain pasta and toss with veggies; stir in basil and cheese before serving.
