Barilla Rustic Basil Pesto Ham Pizza with Mozzarella Cheese Tomatoes Basil

Ingredients

Serves 4

½ Jar Barilla® Rustic Basil Pesto
2 Pre-baked pizza crust
1 Pint multi-color cherry tomatoes, halved
½ Pound cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
6 Ounces cooked cremini mushrooms, sliced
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
¼ Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
8 Ounces goat cheese
¼ Cup fresh basil, sliced thin
To taste Sea salt and black pepper

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425° F. spread pesto on pizza crusts.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium-heat add olive oil and mushrooms. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add sausage. Cook sausage until done, 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Top pizza crusts with sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, and goat cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. Garnish with Parmigiano cheese and basil.
