Ingredients
Serves 6
1 | Box Barilla® Penne pasta |
1 | Jar red sauce |
2 | Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil |
1 | Pound Italian Sausage |
1/2 | Cup Red Wine |
1/2 | Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese |
1 | Tablespoon Fresh Italian Parsley Chopped |

Method
Step 1
In a large skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil.
Step 2
Add the Italian sausage and brown well.
Step 3
Deglaze with red wine and season with salt and black pepper.
Step 4

Step 5
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, season with salt.
Step 6
Add the pasta and cook according to package directions.
Step 7
Drain and toss with the sauce and shredded cheese.
