BARILLA CLASSIC SPAGHETTI WITH GARLIC, CHILLI AND OLIVE OIL

Taste our take on the classic dish, Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino - aka Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil and chilli.

Ingredients

Serves 2

160g Barilla Spaghetti n5
1 garlic clove , peeled & sliced
1 fresh red chilli, sliced
A pinch of parsley, chopped
40ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Rock salt, for pasta water
To taste Salt and black pepper

Method

Step 1

Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Once boiling, add rock salt.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the chopped garlic and cook until translucent. Then, add the chopped parsley and red chilli.

Step 3

Add the Spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to instructions on the pack. Two minutes before the Spaghetti is cooked, drain, and add to the saucepan.

Step 4

Add the pasta to the pan, tossing together with the sauce. If necessary, add some of reserved pasta water. Serve with chopped parsley on top.
