Macaroni
Macaroni, originating from Northern and Central Italy, typically finds its home in comforting soups and casseroles. Its tubular shape, which can be smooth or ridged, adds texture and substance to dishes, making it a versatile staple in Canadian kitchens, especially during colder months.
