Since our passion is pasta, we've got an environmentally friendly pasta cooking tip to keep in mind in honor of this special day: after cooking your pasta to al dente perfection, don’t pour all of your used pasta water down the drain. Instead, let it cool and use it to water your plants! No, really! The starchy H20 provides beneficial nutrients that help plants grow. Just be sure to avoid using pasta water that has been seasoned or salted. Do you have excess seasoned pasta cooking water on hand? Save it for your sauce!
