Cacio e pepe translates to “cheese and pepper”. This easy pantry pasta recipe is delicious on its own, but added truffle butter gives it a level up. Truffle butter has a nutty quality that pairs well with Romano cheese and black pepper.

Barilla Al Bronzo Fusilli Butter Noodles Black Pepper

Ingredients

Serves 6

1 Box Barilla® Al Bronzo Bucatini
5 Tablespoons truffle butter
½ Cup Romano cheese, freshly grated
2 Teaspoons fresh coarsely milled black pepper
To taste Sea salt

Method

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil, season with salt. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain reserving ½ cup of the cooking water.

Step 2

Meanwhile in a large bowl combine butter and black pepper, add cooking water and toss with pasta in the bowl.  Top with cheese and serve.
