Ingredients
Serves 7
1 | Box Barilla® Protein+™ Farfalle |
1/4 | Cup extra virgin olive oil |
2 | Cups white onions sliced |
2 | Sprigs fresh thyme divided |
1 | Cup green bell pepper diced |
1 | Cup red bell pepper diced |
1 | Cup yellow bell pepper diced |
1 | Cup water |
2 | Tablespoons fresh Italian parsley chopped |

Method
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add onions and 1 sprig of fresh thyme.
Step 4
Sauté 5 minutes.
Step 5
Cook Farfalle according to package directions.
Step 6
Add peppers and water to skillet, season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Sauté an additional 10 minutes or until peppers are tender.
Step 8
Drain pasta, add to the skillet, and toss.
Step 9
Sprinkle with remaining thyme, chopped parsley and serve.
