Ingredients
Serves 6
1 | Box Barilla® Farfalle pasta |
1⁄4 | Cup pasta water, reserved |
1 | Handful fresh basil leaves, sliced |
2 | Pints grape tomatoes, quartered |
4 | Garlic cloves , minced |
3 | Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
2 | Teaspoons of salt |
Balsamic glaze, for drizzling | |
To taste | Freshly cracked black pepper |

Method
Step 1
For the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions. Stir occasionally; remove pasta one minute early and reserve 1/4th cup of pasta water.
Step 2
For the Bruschetta mix: Add tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, half the basil, salt, and pepper to a large bowl; mix well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 3
Add cooked pasta, reserved pasta water, and half the bruschetta mixture to the pasta pot stirring over low heat for one minute. Add the remaining bruschetta mixture tossing until the pasta water has evaporated and the sauce is glossy.
Step 4
To serve: Add pasta to serving bowls; garnish with remaining basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Pasta can be served warm or as a chilled pasta salad.
