with Garlic, Oil and Anchovies

Ingredients for 8 people
  • 1 box Barilla® Spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 4 anchovies preserved in salt, rinsed, boned, and chopped
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat

  •  Sauté two peeled garlic cloves until golden brown, then discard
  • Add anchovies and sauté for 2 minutes
  • Remove pan from heat and break apart anchovies with a fork

  •  Season with pepper and add chopped parsley
  • Meanwhile, boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions
  •  Drain, reserving some cooking water, and toss with prepared sauce, adding a small amount of pasta cooking water, if necessary
  • Serve hot
