160ml | water |
150g | Halal ground veal |
150g | Halal ground beef |
40g | carrot, peeled and minced |
40g | celery, minced |
40g | yellow onion, peeled and minced |
100ml | extra-virgin olive oil |
90g | tomato purée |
100ml | alcohol-free red wine |
50g | Halal Parmigiano cheese, grated |
2 | fresh bay leaves, coarsely chopped |
to taste | Salt and black pepper |

Method
Step 1
Here are four easy steps to cook the perfect halal tagliatelle with ragù:

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat and sauté the minced vegetables and bay leaves.

Add the ground beef and veal and raise the heat to medium-high so that it browns well. Pour in the alcohol-free red wine and let it evaporate completely. Reduce the heat to low and add the tomato purée. Season with salt and pepper, add the 160ml water and cook over low heat for about 45 minutes.

Step 4
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg tagliatelle until al dente. (you can also use semolina tagliatelle or Fettuccine)
