Hot and hearty, this is a soup like no other! All you need is one pot, and simply toss in high-quality Barilla Ditali pasta, cannellini beans, plum tomatoes, celery and carrots. Don't forget to also give it some fragrance with fresh oregano and Italian parsley, and a savoury finish with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. This recipe works wonders on a chilly night or when you need some comfort!

1 1/2 cup | Barilla Ditali pasta |
3 tbsp | extra virgin olive oil |
1 cup | onion, chopped |
1 cup | carrot, chopped |
1/2 cup | celery, chopped |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
32 oz | chicken broth |
1 19-oz can | cannellini beans, drained and rinsed |
4 | large plum tomatoes, chopped |
1/4 cup | fresh Italian parsley, chopped and divided |
1 tbsp | fresh oregano, chopped |
1/2 tsp | black pepper, freshly ground |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1 cup | Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, freshly grated and divided |

Method
Step 1
Heat olive oil in large stockpot over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add onion, carrot, celery, and garlic; sauté 3-4 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add broth and beans; heat to simmer.
Step 4
Stir in tomatoes, Barilla Ditali pasta, 2 tbsp parsley, oregano, pepper and salt.
Step 5
Boil 10 minutes or until Barilla Ditali pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Stir in remaining parsley and 1/2 cup cheese.
Step 7
Serve with remaining cheese.
