Ingredients

Serves 6

1 box Barilla Gluten Free Macaroni pasta
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups organic milk
1 tbsp corn starch
1 lb pepper Jack cheese, shredded
To taste salt and pepper
1 jalapeño, diced small

Method

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2

Cook Barilla Gluten Free Macaroni pasta 2 minutes shorter than recommended cooking time.

Step 3

In a small pot, heat milk and cream until it begins to simmer.

Step 4

Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp water to create a slurry. Add slurry to the cream mixture to thicken, then season with salt, pepper and jalapeño.

Step 5

Slowly add 3/4 cheese into the sauce, whisking constantly.

Step 6

Add Barilla Gluten Free Macaroni pasta to the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Step 7

Place in a 13x9 inch greased baking dish; top with remaining cheese.

Step 8

Bake in the oven for approximately 15 minutes or until bubbling and slightly caramelized on the top.
