Our good friend, Jamie Milne from @everything_delish shared her own spin on the ever-popular TikTok feta baked pasta in this recipe. Homemade pesto made with fragrant and fresh basil, comes together with perfectly al dente Barilla Rotini pasta for a delicious, al dente lunch, plus you'll have leftovers if you can’t finish!

Serves 4
1 box | Barilla Rotini pasta |
2 cups | cherry tomatoes |
1/4 cup | olive oil |
1 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | black pepper |
1 block | feta |
For pesto
3 cups | basil |
1/2 cup | olive oil |
2 | garlic cloves |
1 cup | parmesan cheese |
1/2 | lemon, juiced |

Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 420°F. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook Barilla Rotini pasta for 7 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
Step 2
Add cherry tomatoes to baking dish. Toss with 1/4 cup olive oil, salt and pepper. Add feta block to the centre of the dish. Drizzle block with olive oil and freshly cracked black pepper. Place in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Step 3
In a food processor, add in basil, olive oil, garlic, cheese, salt and pepper. Process until smooth. Add in juice of 1/2 lemon. Process again for 20-25 seconds.
Step 4
Remove tomatoes and feta from oven. Drizzle pesto all over the tomatoes. Break up with a wooden spoon and add in Barilla Rotini pasta. Mix together until combined. Add in pasta water as needed and mix together. Add Barilla Rotini pasta to a plate and garnish with fresh basil and black pepper to serve.
