2Cups broccoli, cut into small florets

2Tablespoons butter

1Pound chicken breast, small dice

1Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2Cloves garlic, minced

1Cup heavy cream

½Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, Grated, Divided

To TasteSea Salt & Black Pepper

Method

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Step 2

Meanwhile, season chicken with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

In a large skillet over medium heat add chicken and cook until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Step 4

In same skillet, heat butter, add garlic and cook, stirring constantly until fragrant, about 1 minute. Whisk in cream and bring to a simmer; uncovered until thickened about 2-3 minutes.

Step 5

Turn off the heat and fold in half of the cheese. Return chicken to the skillet.

Step 6

Cook pasta according to package directions, adding broccoli during the last minute of cook time. Reserve ½ cup of pasta cooking water, drain pasta and broccoli.

Step 7

Mix pasta and broccoli with the sauce, adding pasta water to get desired sauce thickness.

Step 8

Serve with remaining cheese.
