Ingredients
Serves 4
1 box | Barilla Spaghetti pasta |
2 tbsp | capers, soaked in hot water with salt for 30 minutes |
6 tbsp | extra virgin olive oil |
3 oz | Kalamata olives |
2 | garlic cloves, chopped |
2 tbsp | Italian parsley, chopped |
1 | medium chili pepper, deseeded and chopped |
1 28-oz can | peeled tomatoes |
6 | anchovy fillets |
To taste | salt and pepper |

Method
Step 1
In a medium-sized pan, sauté garlic in oil until light golden.
Step 2
Add capers, chili pepper and olives and cook for 2 more minutes.
Step 3
Add anchovies. Stir in the tomatoes, smash with a wooden spoon in the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 4
In the meantime, cook Barilla Spaghetti pasta according to package directions.
Step 5
Mix and cook the tomatoes for 2 more minutes, adjust with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Drain Barilla Spaghetti pasta and add to the sauce. Toss for 1 minute. Serve with chopped parsley sprinkled on top.
