Angel Hair pasta, also known as Capellini, or 'fine hair', is the perfect choice when you want to pair a light, elegant sauce with a more delicate cut of pasta. Angel Hair's fine golden strands are a traditional favourite, and can be found on the tables of family dining rooms and small trattorie across Italy, where they are paired with the best of the local flavours, such as fresh seafood and vegetables in Naples, or rich basil pesto in Liguria.
Perfect for ...
Balance the delicacy of Angel Hair with light, structured sauces. Try Angel Hair in simple tomato sauces, broken in to broths, or in light dairy sauces like parsley crème.

Our Chef’s tip
Salt will help flavour to the pasta but avoid adding oil to the water as your sauce won't stick.
COOKING YOUR PASTA
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil, and add salt to taste. We recommend 1 litre for every 100g of pasta.
Add pasta to boiling water. Stir occasionally.
Cook for the length of time indicated on the pack.
Remove from heat. Drain well and finish cooking in the pan with your favourite Barilla pasta sauce.
